Workpop’s goal is to help you find a job you love!  Once you have found a position that you are interested in, you can apply online via our website or mobile apps.  Submitting your application is the first step in finding a job you love.

If you have previously applied for a job on Workpop, we’ll save your application for future use. Remember to add an optional cover letter and confirm your schedule availability to make your application stand out!

Applying for a Job with No Existing Workpop Account

  1. Click on the green Apply Now button. You’ll be prompted to create an account.

  2. Do you have a resume? Select Yes (You will be prompted to upload your resume) or No, Let’s Create One (You will be prompted to complete our application and add information as prompted)

  3. When you click next you’ll be taken through each section of our application
  4. Complete or enter relevant information that is requested
  5. Review your application
  6. You will see a summary page with all information you are about to submit to the hiring manager.
  7. Click Submit!
  8. Your application is sent to the hiring manager for review

Applying for a Job with an Existing Workpop Account

From the Workpop Homepage:

  1. Click the Log In button at the top of the page
  2. Either log in with Facebook, or enter your email login information.
  3. When you find a job you like, click on the green Apply Now button
    • You’ll be prompted to sign in, if you are not already logged in
  4. You will be shown your current application on file
    • Review the information show to confirm the correct information is being sent for this application
  5. Select the Edit Resume button if you need to make any updates
    • This will allow you to make any necessary changes to your resume, contact information, work history, education, skills, or availability
  6. Click Done to finish updating your application
    • You will be taken to the application review page
    • You will see a summary page with all information you are about to submit to the hiring manager.
  7. Click Submit!
    • Your application is sent to the hiring manager for review

Uploading a Resume

  1. Log in and select My Applications
  2. Click Manage Resume
  3. Click Upload Resume
  4. Select the file you’d like to upload

Once your resume has been uploaded, double check to make sure the extracted information is correct.

Note

Sometimes, Workpop will be unable to extract the information from a resume, even if it is in .pdf, .doc, or .docx format. This may be because of images embedded in the resume or the way it was formatted. While the information in your resume could not be extracted, it was still successfully uploaded to your account and attached to your application. When this happens, you will still be prompted to manually enter information to format your information into a Workpop application.

Updating Your Resume

  1. Log in and select My Applications
  2. Click Manage Resume
  3. Click Upload Resume
  4. Select Replace to replace your current resume, or Add To Current to add to your work history and education.
    • If you do replace your resume, any previous entries in Contact Info, Work Experience, Education Experience, and Skills will be overwritten. Please note you will also lose any references on your current application.
    • If you select Add To Current, you should be uploading a document that is only new information, such as additional job fields.

Adding References

 The first step in finding a job you love is applying to that job!  Workpop is helping you stand out from other applicants by including references directly on your application.

References show hiring managers that people you have previously worked with can vouch for your skills and abilities as an employee.  While co-workers and customers are great references, managers and more senior employees tend to be viewed more positively by hiring managers.

References are tied to the position you submit them with, so if you delete a position, the reference will also disappear.

Make sure you enter accurate contact information. Workpop will contact them to verify the information and hiring managers may reach out to these people when they are considering hiring you.

  1. Go to My Applications
    • You’ll see two buttons Manage Resume and Add References
  2. Click on the Add References button
    • You’ll be taken to a form to fill out details about your reference.
